Digital As-Builts (DABs) is an Every Day Counts (EDC-6) Initiative of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Office of Planning designed to help transportation professionals shift toward a paperless process for tracking, documenting, and archiving materials information. DABs are living records that are updated during construction to support effective life cycle asset and performance management. The EDC-6 DABs Initiative focuses on enhancing the accessibility of highway project data from design to asset management.
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) invites your active participation in Fast Forward Your Digital Roadmap, a dynamic virtual experience. Join leading Departments of Transportation and FHWA for a deep dive into how digital project delivery and digital as-builts (DABs) are changing how we work.
